No indian would complain about Apu, we're so used to negative stereotypes, its become normal for us. And secondly its funny. People who criticize the racial stereotype in Apu are mainly white liberals who seem to want to satiate their conscience by trying to 'protect ' an ethnic minority, who in reality, dont really care.
